THE LEGEND OF THE MEDALLIONS
Long ago, a super creative Barton Hills volunteer—had an awesome idea for the school carnival all about magical myths and legends.
They sculpted a handful of secret, painted medallions and hid them all around the carnival ground like buried treasure. If you were sharp-eyed enough to find one, it was yours to keep forever!
Kids loved the treasure hunt so much that everyone wanted in on the magic. That’s how a tiny secret game turned into a legendary tradition! Today, we make sure there are enough medallions for everyone to take home as a special carnival souvenir—so you can carry a little piece of Barton Hills history right in your pocket!
